Exterior features
Built light, tough and easy to tow
The outside of a Go-Pod is just as carefully considered as the inside. From the one-piece GRP fibreglass shell to the galvanised chassis, AL-KO running gear and simple exterior connections, it’s designed to be lightweight, practical and reassuringly straightforward to own.
Built around three big ideas
A one-piece shell

Instead of looking like a small box caravan, a Go-Pod uses a rounded one-piece GRP fibreglass shell designed to be compact, tough and weather-resistant.
One-piece GRP fibreglass shell
Fewer seam-leak worries
Aerodynamic, rounded design
Optional custom colour shell
Quality materials

Underneath the compact shell is proper caravan running gear, engineered for safe, reliable and confident touring.
Galvanised steel chassis
AL-KO running gear
AL-KO hitch, drawbar and brakes
Rear stabiliser legs and jockey wheel
Easy ownership

The exterior details are designed to make real-world ownership easier, from towing and pitching to connecting up and moving the Go-Pod around.
Lightweight and easy to tow
Easy to manoeuvre when unhitched
Exterior sockets and connections
Spare wheel, porch light and LED road lights
Exterior features at a glance
One-piece GRP shell
The Go-Pod body uses a one-piece GRP fibreglass shell, helping to eliminate the risk of seam leaks and giving the caravan its distinctive rounded shape.
Lightweight, compact body
The lightweight design means many small cars and EVs can tow a Go-Pod, while the compact body also makes it easier to manoeuvre when unhitched.
Aerodynamic shape
The rounded body helps reduce wind resistance when towing, supporting easier touring and helping with fuel consumption compared with boxier caravans.
Undersealed base & insulation
The build includes a marine-grade plywood base, fully undersealed, with a wood skeleton frame, insulation and white lacquered MDF board wall panels.
Galvanised chassis
Go-Pods use a galvanised steel chassis with AL-KO running gear, hitch, drawbar and braking system for proper touring-caravan confidence.
Hitch, drawbar & jockey wheel
Standard exterior towing equipment includes the AL-KO hitch and drawbar, plus a solid rubber jockey wheel to help with positioning when unhitched.
Exterior sockets & connections
Exterior connections include a 13-pin towing socket, 240V mains electricity connection, Truma water pump socket and TV aerial socket.
LED exterior lights
Standard exterior lighting includes an LED porch light above the door, rear LED brake and indicator lights, side driving lights and a high-level rear brake light.
Wheels, tyres & spare wheel
Go-Pods use 175/70 R13 86N tyres and include a full-spec spare wheel mounted underneath, plus two rear stabiliser legs for pitching.
